Prudential Financial Consultant
The story of how Angie joined TAGroup is a long and interesting one. In 2018 when she was a sales rep in the car trade, she discovered that a lump in her breast had grown bigger. That minor health scare prompted her to reach out to her Prudential Financial consultant to discuss her policy review but that conversation ended up in a totally different direction than intended. Her consultant shared with Angie the benefits as well as the struggles of a career in the insurance industry. Even though she was going through tremendous stress and working long hours, she was still hesitant to join the industry as there was still something that was missing which she couldn’t put a finger on. Fast forward a year later, she encountered a pair of consultants in the course of her work. And from them she could see the passion they had for their work and that inspired her to take that leap of faith and eventually led her to join TAGroup. One of the biggest draws for her was the work-life balance which was something she had always wanted.
As someone who values relationships, Angie nurtures special bonds with her clients, through fun social events and most importantly treating them like close friends. In addition, Angie realises it isn’t only about the adults; she enrolled in Prudential’s financial literacy course for children, which equipped her to teach her clients’ kids about the importance of money management as well. This is something she is a strong advocate of – financial planning should start from young, and planning should be a holistic one that involves the children as well. Her emphasis on building long term relationships with clients and their young ones, is aligned with TAGroup’s values of giving and being genuine. “When people feel your sincerity, they will keep coming back. And when you give and create value in others’ lives, it is in turn receiving a blessing from others.”
