The commonality in all human beings is to live a fruitful life, however different everyone is.” Felicia Yeo’s interest in financial planning was sparked at an early age in her school days, and that is a key factor in helping her rise through the ranks to become a Senior Financial Consultant despite her young age.

Having gone through door-knocking and cold calling in her early days in the industry, Felicia found that people were rarely wary of her approach. “Many were surprisingly nice and actually invited me into their homes. It took a short time for them to build solid relationships with me,” she recalls, accrediting it to how her clients have described her to be naturally approachable and effortlessly friendly.

As a pet owner, Felicia discovered that most people are underestimate the large amount of money needed for pet food and veterinary visits, she says, highlighting that some vet visits can cost up to thousands of dollars. This is where she educates pet owners to include their pet ownership budgeting as part of their financial planning, and also setting aside funds for pet emergencies.

Besides risk management planning, she also finds that it is important to ensure that her clients understand that their hard-earned money has the potential to grow exponentially. This is made possible through proper advice on investment by taking into consideration their risk appetite and time horizon. 

Felicia doesn’t limit herself only to the knowledge she has now – she constantly upgrades her skills through courses, and in turn shares her views and tips with her clients, giving them solutions that help with their issues.

“Everyone needs to grow – be it our knowledge, aspirations, or passion – to succeed,” she expresses. Felicia embarks on a lifetime financial journey with all her clients as she believes “When people trust me, it is a responsibility that I would never treat carelessly.”
