Isabel Ngo
AEPP®, Bachelor of Arts with Honours (Distinction) in Global Studies

Prudential Financial Consultant
Joining this industry back in February 2020, for Isabel Ngo, was due to a culmination of various matters. When Isabel was 12 years old, her mother was diagnosed with dementia, and Isabel witnessed first-hand how having insurance helped massively in that aspect. She was also a fresh university graduate, and at a point in her life where she wanted to focus on personal growth. Being rather introverted, she wanted to challenge herself to talk more to people. This job has made Isabel realise that she meets so many people that she would otherwise never have gone out of her way to be acquainted with.
The perks Isabel enjoys in this industry is how flexible it is such that she can plan her own work schedule, while having fun with her colleagues with all the social activities Prudential offers. In contrast to her reserved persona, Isabel is appreciative of the fact that her clients involve her in their personal lives and treat her as a confidante. “To them, I’m not just a financial planner, but also a friend who’s willing to impart advice on anything under the sun beyond just finances – like which bridal shops I’d recommend.”
Isabel’s clients know her as someone who would never pressurise them to make decisions that are not in their best interests. She specialises mainly in wealth growth and planning for young adults and their immediate families. As much as regarding honesty as her highest virtue, TAGroup has also taught her the gravity of being genuine. Sometimes, people don’t want to talk about finances after a long day, and she respects that. Isabel’s clients know they have a valuable friend in her; and her, in them.
